The creator economy works better when it works for everyone.
Mary Williams is the founder and CEO of Sasquatch Media Grounds, a boutique creator economy studio headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. She began her career as a digital archivist at Disney Animation and spent more than a decade inside the creator economy — behind the mic, behind the scenes, and inside the strategy conversations that shape what comes next.
SMG is built on one conviction: most creators don't have a production problem. They have an architecture problem. Mary designs the systems that fix it — from pre-production strategy to talent development to a creator membership and live event platform.
She was a speaker at SXSW Podcast Movement 2026. SMG holds a USPTO Class 41 trademark and is pursuing B-Corp certification through the B-Level grant program for BIPOC women founders.
What Makes Us Different
Our Values
Sasquatch Media Grounds was designed for creators who want their work to mean something. Everything we do is guided by a few simple principles.
Substance over spectacle
The internet has no shortage of noise. We focus on ideas that deserve attention and voices that are ready for it.
Craftsmanship
Good media is built, not rushed. We care about sound, structure, pacing, and storytelling because details shape how a message lands.
Voice before visibility
Before someone grows an audience, they need clarity. We help creators develop the message that makes their platform worth listening to.
Curiosity and courage
The best conversations come from people who are willing to ask real questions and explore ideas honestly.
Community over algorithms
Great media ecosystems grow through relationships, collaboration, and shared curiosity—not just social media hacks.
